WASHINGTON — The United States Department of State has announced a major reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the location or identification of five senior commanders of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The announcement was made through the State Department’s Rewards for Justice (RFJ) program, which published the notice on X (formerly Twitter), calling on the public worldwide to provide actionable intelligence. According to the RFJ program, the five key IRGC figures wanted are: – Ahmed Vahidi, IRGC Commander. – Ali Abdollahi, Chief of the Khatemolanbia Central Headquarters. – Sa’id Aghajani, IRGC Aerospace Force UAV Commander. – Hamidreza Lashgarian, IRGC Cyber Electronic Command Chief.
– Majid Khademi, Intelligence Office Commander. These individuals are considered high-value targets due to their leadership roles within the IRGC’s military, drone, cyber, and intelligence operations. The State Department stated that individuals who provide credible and actionable information on these commanders may be “eligible for relocation and a reward” of up to $10 million.
The Rewards for Justice program is an inter-agency program administered by the Diplomatic Security Service that has paid more than $250 million to over 100 people worldwide since its inception in 1984 for information that prevented terrorist attacks or helped bring terrorists to justice.
